Finding Dee is a raw, hilarious, and deeply honest look at coming out as transgender while trying to survive—and succeed—in the world of comics. It’s a story about identity, creative obsession, imposter syndrome, and the very real chaos of chasing your dreams while figuring out who you are.
From Webcomic Roots to Something Entirely New
Finding Dee began as a black-and-white webcomic, built on sharp humor, personal moments, and the kind of truth that only comes from lived experience. It resonated because it was unfiltered, awkward, heartfelt, and painfully relatable—especially for queer creators trying to carve out space in a competitive industry.
Now, that original series has been completely reimagined.
